These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of calmpawssco.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Calm Paws Co. ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you give us is accurate and complete.

2. Our Products

Calm Paws Co. sells calming collars and related products for cats.

Not veterinary treatment. Our products support relaxation and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. They do not replace professional veterinary care. If your cat shows aggression, anxiety, illness, or sudden behavior changes, consult a licensed veterinarian.

Results vary. Cats respond differently based on temperament, environment, health, and household dynamics. We do not guarantee a specific result for every cat. Our Return & Refund Policy covers you if the product does not work for your cat.

Safe use. You agree to follow all instructions on the packaging and product page, including:

  • Fit the collar so you can slip two fingers between the collar and your cat's neck.
  • Watch your cat during the first 24-48 hours of wear.
  • Remove the collar immediately if you see skin irritation, discomfort, excessive scratching, or any unusual reaction.
  • Do not use the collar on kittens younger than the age stated on the product page, or on pregnant, nursing, sick, or elderly cats without your veterinarian's approval.
  • Keep unused collars away from children and pets.

Product information. We try to display product descriptions, images, and colors accurately. Your screen settings may affect how colors appear, and we do not guarantee that every description is error-free.

3. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We accept your order when we ship it. We may refuse or cancel any order, including orders that appear fraudulent, exceed reasonable quantity limits, or were placed using a pricing error. If we cancel an order after you paid, we issue a full refund.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in US dollars (USD).
  • Prices and availability may change without notice.
  • If we list a product at an incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you, even after you receive an order confirmation.
  • You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including any applicable taxes and shipping.
  • Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

5. Shipping

  • Processing time: 1-2 business days
  • Shipping time: 3-5 business days (Express Shipping)
  • Free shipping on orders over $50

Delivery times are estimates and begin after your order ships. Carrier delays, weather, and holidays can affect delivery. If we cannot ship within the stated time, we will notify you and give you the option to cancel for a full refund. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers your order. 6. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is part of these Terms. You can return products within 30 days of delivery.

7. Promotions and Discount Codes

  • Discount codes cannot be combined unless we state otherwise.
  • Codes have no cash value and cannot be applied to past orders.
  • We may change or end any promotion at any time.
  • If you return items bought with a discount, your refund equals the amount you actually paid.

8. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@calmpawssco.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Reviews and User Content

When you submit reviews, photos, videos, or other content ("User Content"), you confirm that:

  • The content is your own and is truthful.
  • You had the right to share any images of your cat or home.
  • The content contains no illegal, offensive, or misleading material.

You give Calm Paws Co. a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, edit, and display your User Content on the Site, in emails, on social media, and in ads. We may remove any User Content at our discretion. We do not pay for reviews or edit reviews to change their meaning.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including the Calm Paws Co. name, logo, text, images, videos, and design, belongs to Calm Paws Co. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or use any content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Buy products for unauthorized resale
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, scrape, or overload the Site
  • Upload viruses or malicious code
  • Impersonate another person or provide false information
  • Submit fake reviews or abuse promotions, returns, or chargebacks

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly stated in these Terms and our Return & Refund Policy, the Site and all products are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Calm Paws Co. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products, including damages resulting from failure to follow product instructions.

Our total liability for any claim related to a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those states, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law permits.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Calm Paws Co. and its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of our products, or your User Content.

15. Dispute Resolution

Before you file any claim, contact us at support@calmpawssco.com and give us 30 days to resolve the issue informally. Most problems are solved this way.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, either party may pursue it in small claims court, or through binding individual arbitration, where permitted by law. You and Calm Paws Co. agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and waive the right to take part in a class action or class-wide arbitration.

Nothing in this section limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws of the state where Calm Paws Co. is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

17. Third-Party Services

The Site uses third-party services, including Shopify, payment processors, and shipping carriers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when we post them on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The Terms in effect when you placed an order apply to that order.

19. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Calm Paws Co.
